- Responsible for operations and maintenance of pipeline and station assets, which includes but is not limited to maintenance of valves, pumps, piping and tanks.
- Daily task include measurement, facility station checks, responding to customers needs.
- Other responsibilities include line locating and excavation oversight.
- All employees are expected to be proactive in the safety and environmental program.
- Compliance responsibilities include equipment inspections, documentation, and training requirements.
- This role will require computer work.
- This position will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all types of positive displacement and centrifugal pumps from 5 hp to 2500 hp.
- In addition, they repair and maintain valves, actuators, tank mixers, and all other types of mechanical equipment associated with the operation of the pipeline.
- Will be expected to schedule work, make decisions about repairs, and meet goals with little outside supervision.

- 2 + years of work in mechanical preventive or predictive maintenance.
- 2 + years experience working on Positive Displacement or centrifugal pumps or similar types of mechanical equipment.
- Computer skills, specifically the ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and ability to learn to use proprietary databases.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to work without direct supervision to accomplish goals and meet schedules.
- 2 year Technical (Mechanical) degree or High School diploma (or equivalent) and 3 years of related mechanical experience on rotating or turbine equipment .
Preferred:
- 1 + years mechanical experience in the pipeline industry.
- 1 + years Liquid Pipeline Field Technician experience.
- 6 months experience on large, horizontal, split case, multi-staged centrifugal pumps, or can pumps.
- Valve repair experience on any type of slab, ball, wedge, twin seal, or butterfly valves
- API process pump experience
- 2 year Technical School Degree - Mechanical/Engine Repair, Industrial Maintenance, or Gas Compressor Repair
Other Considerations:
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment in designated areas (Hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, fire retardant clothing, heeled boots, etc.).
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs frequently
- Ability to work in hot, cold or inclement climate conditions (outdoor conditions)
- Up to 25% travel required, including overnight travel
- Must be able to respond to calls 24/7 for emergency response
- Must be able to be in a rotational on-call status
- Position requires the ability to wear respirator and to pass a respirator fit test.
- Ability to climb and gauge storage tanks greater than 40' in height.
- Walking and climbing of ladders or stairs is required
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Must have the ability to respond within 30 minutes of assets.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, DOT drug screen, and pre-hire physical.
