Software Developer Analyst

Position Summary

As a Software Developer for Koch Supply & Trading you will be part of a team responsible for developing IT solutions that align with business initiatives. In this role you will:

·         Actively participate in a team environment developing and optimizing a wide variety of solutions

·         Engage with business customers, external vendors, business analysts and application support

·         Help drive the improvement of our development capability
 
Requirements
·         2+ years experience as a programmer/analyst, developing and supporting applications

·         2+ years experience developing RDBMS applications using SQL Server, Sybase or Oracle

·         Demonstrated proficiency with C#, C++ or Java and object oriented development

·         Demonstrated proficiency with transact-SQL, stored procedures and optimization of database schemas

·         Demonstrated proficiency with ETL tools such as Informatica and SSIS

·         Must be able to understand and communicate complex problems/solutions

·         Experience with software design patterns and software development methodologies

·         Ability to project manage small to intermediate projects

·         College degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math or 5+ years of equivalent experience

Preferred:

·         Knowledge of the trading business

·         Training or experience in financial mathematics or statistical analysis

·         MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Math
