| Position Summary |
| Environmental Engineer dealing with multiple environmental air compliance programs. Must be able to provide oversight and general assistance to operations. Environmental activities are in accordance with regulatory and/or plant environmental requirements. Must be able to manage record keeping and reporting requirements for regulatory focus area(s) to ensure compliance with mandated deadlines. Will be able to work on process improvements in existing management systems. Will be required to function as Level 1 On-call for environmental incidents with responsibility for accurate and timely agency reporting. |

| Requirements |
Work Experience & Skills Required: Minimum 7 years experience in environmental compliance. Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Must be detailed oriented and self motivated. Must be able to multi-task many projects concurrently and work with aggressive regulatory deadlines. Must have good interpersonal skills in dealing with internal and external customers. Good Humility, Integrity and Professionalism skills are critical to the success of the candidate, as this job requires working in a team oriented atmosphere. Must be willing to learn new responsibilities with minimal oversight. Must have good working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and Access databases.
Work Experience & Skills Preferred: Good working knowledge of petroleum or petrochemical facility. Prior experience with environmental regulations and compliance programs within the State of Texas. Strong math background needed for calculations.
Education Required: College degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or other technical discipline.
Physical Demands or Unusual Working Conditions: General field work with normal plant conditions. Will be required to go into plant on routine basis as part of the EA role.
