| Position Summary |
- Supervise Medical group providing day-to-day supervision of two direct reports - Own personal safety initiatives for the site - Facilitate Safety Management Compliance System Owner efforts to establish/improve management systems for all safety elements - Develop and own Refinery Safety Metrics - Owner of site injury / illness process - Serve as Safety Officer in Refinery Emergency Operations Center - Participate in monthly Central EH&S Council Meetings - Co-chair the Refinery Process Safety Committee

| Requirements |
Work Experience and Skills Required: 5+ years safety, health or environmental experience 3+ years experience in the petrochemical or heavy manufacturing industry Knowledge of OSHA Standards Developed and refined logical thinking skills and experience in applying those skills in developing procedures and processes for management of change programs Ability to liaise with all levels of the organization (hourly to management) Demonstrated ability to recognize hazards, drive continuous improvement, and promote practical alternatives for risk reduction and risk control measures
Work Experience & Skills Preferred: Process Safety Management - Management of Change Work Processes and management system development
Education Required: B.S. Engineering or Safety/Industrial Hygiene
Physical Demands or Unusual Working Conditions: Be able to work in process areas including climbing and use of personal protective equipment
