As you help to guide Laboratory services at FHR Port Arthur, you will have an opportunity to take your career to the next level. Your primary responsibilities will include the following: • Performing analytical test methods (Gas chromatograph) • Use computer (LIMS, Microsoft Office) • Understanding and application of Site Safe Work Practices LOTO, Permitting • Mechanical aptitude to trouble shoot, adjust and repair routine equipment issues • Ability to follow procedures while working in a plant environment to draw samples

| Requirements |
WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED: Along with a commitment to integrity and compliance, qualified candidates will demonstrate strong verbal, written, and PC skills. The qualified candidate will have 3+ years experience in a refinery or chemical plant laboratory. Experience working with some of the following laboratory testing and equipment: • gas chromatography, • distillation, • MDA and other sulfur analyzers, • gravitometers, • flash, • X-ray, and • mass spectrometry.
EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent and Some College
EDUCATION PREFERRED: B.S. in Chemistry from an accredited school
PHYSICAL DEMANDS or UNUSUAL WORKING CONDITIONS Some climbing, lifting, carrying up to 50 pounds, respirator use, typical plant working environment
